No official final is scheduled for the competition, with the four sides playing each other over a single round, with the team that top the log taking the silverware.

Both the Vodacom Bulls and Cell C Sharks are still unbeaten after two rounds, the latest which happened over the past weekend when the men from North Gauteng recorded a convincing win over the Toyota Cheetahs at home in Pretoria by 32-10, after leading 12-0 at halftime.

It was the home side who managed to cross the try-line five times, while they also succeeded with two conversions and a penalty goal, while the Free Staters scored once and added a conversion and a penalty goal.

Both Vodacom Bulls locks, Hanno Theunissen and Corne Beets, scored tries at Loftus Versfeld, as well as Lutho Mene (right wing) and Quewin Nortje (fullback), with Junior Springbok flyhalf Compion von Ludwig weighing in with the two conversions and a penalty goal via his boot.

Tiaan Kriek (flyhalf) converted the Free Staters' try, which was scored by replacement fullback Murray Ferreira, while Kriek also steered a penalty goal through the uprights.

The other match, between hosts DHL WP and the Cell C Sharks, was a much more closely fought affair, with the KwaZulu-Natalians beating their Cape Town counterparts by 22-20 at Villager RFC, where the visitors led 7-6 at the break.

Junior Springbok flanker Paul de Villiers and outside centre Thomas Nel were the try scorers for the Capetonians, with SA U20 utility back Imad Khan kicking two conversions and a pair of penalty goals.

However, that effort was not enough as the visiting side from KwaZulu-Natal replied with four tries scores through Marnus Winter (centre), Coetzee le Roux (lock), Michael Koch (scrumhalf) and Torbyn Visser (loose forward), whose try in injury time secured the win for the visitors. Pivot Ethan Hooker was on target with one of the conversions.

On Saturday, the Cell C Sharks play host to the Vodacom Bulls in Durban, while DHL WP travel to Bloemfontein to face the Toyota Cheetahs.
