The Hollywoodbets Sharks became the third different champion in three years when they won the 2023 SA Rugby Under-20 Cup competition by beathing 2022 champions, the Vodacom Bulls, in the final in Durban. The other teams in the competition were the Lions, who won the title in 2021, as well as DHL Western Province, the Toyota Cheetahs, Leopards and Valke.
