It was another day of classy rugby action at Grey College on Tuesday as the U18 SA Rugby Craven Week and SA Rugby Academy Week launched into full swing with the teams that watched from the sidelines on Monday taking to the field in their first round of matches.
The rugby on the third day of the SA Rugby Academy Week was also red-hot, with big scores dominating a day’s play in which only three of the 14 teams in action on Wednesday remained unbeaten – the Limpopo Blue Bulls, Pumas CD and DHL Western Province.
Springbok captain Siya Kolisi will be given enough time to fully recover from his knee injury and will in all likelihood miss the opening Tests of the Castle Lager Rugby Championship, in Johannesburg against Australia and in Wellington against New Zealand.
